Responsible to establish, re-establish and reference all original government corners in the county and to maintain official records related to these corners. Maintain legal survey record books.

Responsibilities/Duties:
- Ex officio member and technical advisor to the Kosciusko County Drainage Board.
- Responsible to classify all county regulated drains as to status.
- Oversees all maintenance, construction and reconstruction work associated with regulated drains. Kosciusko County has over 1100 miles of county regulated drains.
- Prepare/furnish required area of opening & elevations for County Highway Department pipe and bridge replacement structures affecting regulated drains.
