Innkeeper Tax Info
Innkeeper's Tax is a pass-through tax paid by the party renting the accommodations. The Innkeeper then forwards that tax on to the Kosciusko County Treasurer once a month. Innkeeper's Tax is a levy tax on every person engaged in the business of renting or furnishing, for periods of less than thirty (30) days, any room or rooms, lodgings, or accommodations located in Kosciusko County, Indiana. The Innkeeper must pay taxes on a percentage of this to the Treasurer of Kosciusko County by the 20th of each month.
The Kosciusko County Innkeeper's tax rate is five percent (5%) and is used to promote and or encourage conventions, visitors and tourism within the county.
